faktor utama penggerak IHSG pada pekan ini adalah fluktuasi indeks di bursa-bursa saham global dan regional. pasar saham global maupun regional saat ini sangat sensitif terhadap berita baik maupun berita buruk akibat meluasnya dampak dari krisis finansial terhadap sektor-sektor industri lainnya, baik di AS maupun kawasan lainnya seperti Eropa (weekly report, BEI)

seperti yang sudah diamati oleh para pelaku, fluktuasi masih terjadi. pemicu -nya cukup kompleks, banyak sekali. apalagi dari sumber yang sama disebutkan potensi pertumbuhan ekonomi global cukup lambat, dalam seminggu yang lalu banyak pihak berharap, berspekulasi, dan meramalkan banyak kemungkinan, tapi hari ini perdagangan dibuka masih juga mengalami penurunan.

data statistik indeks bursa regional minggu ini (belum bisa di-attached) JCI -3,60%, KLCI -3,11%, STI (Sing) -2.81%, KOSPI -4.90%, Hang Seng: -1.64%. overall regional anjlok.
