IHSG makin terseret

Minggu terakhir bulan November ini diawali dengan penurunan indeks kita, hari senin ini 24/11 kembali ditutup menurun setelah minggu lalu juga mengalami penurunan, jadi indeks kita telah turun 6 kali secara berturut-turut. Meskipun hari ini pada sesi pembukaan indeks menguat hampir 6 poin dan akhirnya pada penutupan hari ini tetap ditutup Rp 1,141.401 (-0,42%).

Penurunan ini disebabkan sector Mining yang turun -4% dan Consumer turun -3,94%. Meskipun itu penguatan terjadi pada sector property (+3,77%), infrastruktur (+1,03%), Finance (+1,67%) dan LQ45 naik 0,36%. Hari ini transaksi tergolong sepi karena hanya 1,6 triliun nilai transaksi. Ini disebabkan para pelaku pasar (investor) masih takut untuk masuk dan hanya melihat dan menunggu (wait and see).

Penurunan ini berlawanan dengan indeks global yang hampir semua indek mengalami penguatan dan Sementara bursa Dow Jones berhasil rebound pada akhir pekan kemarin, setelah sebelumnya selama 2 hari berturut-turut melebah lebih dari 5%. Dow jones berhasil rebound signifikan 6,5% pada akhir sesi perdagangan pekan kemarin. Sentiment positif dating dari penunjukkan Timothy Geithner, Gubenur New York Federal Reserve Bank, sebagai mentri keuangan pada kabinet Obama. IHSG ini unik karena indeks global naik tapi IHSG turun ataupun sebaliknya.

Para pengamat pasar melihat bahwa keputusan Obama untuk mengandeng orang-orang yang memiliki kemampuan dibidangnya dapat memperkuat perekonomian Amerika, dan salah satu menterinya diambil dari mantan menteri dari mantan presiden Bill Clinton. Para pengamat ekonomi juga berpendapat bahwa krisis akan kembali pulih jika Amerika menarik pasukannya yang telah dikirim ke Irak. Karena biaya yang ditanggung oleh Amerika di Irak adalah sangat besar. Hal ini menyebabkan kas Amerika terkuras banyak untuk membiayai kegiatan tersebut
