Pasca pertemuan G-20 yang membahas masalah krisis ekonomi global ternyata tidak begitu pengaruh terhadap pergerakan pasar global, khususnya negara asal mula krisis global Amerika. Pada tanggal 17 Nov indeks Dow Jones ditutup turun -223.73 poin ke posisi 8,273.58, S$P500 dan Nasdaq juga turun masing-masing -22.54 dan -34.80 poin penurunan indeks ini ternyata sangat berpengaruh terhadap perdagangan pasar global. Di perdagangan indeks asia juga mengalami penurunan, indeks Nikkei mengalami penurunan -194.17 poin keposisi 8,328.41 tak terkecuali indeks Hangseng juga turun -613.64 poin ke posisi 12.915.89. Sentimen negatif tersebut juga mengakibatkan perdagangan IHSG mengalami penurunan -47.071 poin atau 3,8% ke posisi Rp 1,189.862 penurunan terendah indeks IHSG hari ini sempat menyentuh angka Rp 1,168an.. Penurunan tersebut disebabkan karena pertemuan KTT Pasar Keuangan dan Ekonomi Dunia G-20 pada sabtu (15/11) tidak menghasilkan suatu yang membuat mendongkrak kepercayaan pelaku pasar (investor). Serta beberapa isu yang membuat resah para pelaku pasar (investor). para pelaku pasar (investor) dunia sangat dipengaruhi oleh pergerakan indeks Dow Jones, hal ini belum tahu asal mulanya kenapa para pelaku pasar (investor) tersebut mempunyai sentimen seperti itu. Padahal kita tahu bahwa saham-saham yang ada di Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) mempunyai Fundamental yang kuat dan tidak begitu terpengaguh terhadap krisis yang menimpah dunia.
