Automotif AS gagal dikucuri Bailout US$14 miliar
Sektor automotif AS yang rencananya akan diberi bailout sebesar US$14 miliar terpaksa harus gigit jari, pasalnya senat AS tidak menyepakati pemberian bailout tersebut.
Ketidaksepakatan tersebut terjadi karena adanya ketidaksamaan tuntutan gaji pekerja otomotif AS dengan pekerja asing yang dimulai 2009.
Saat ini pemerintah AS tengah mengkaji opsi lain untuk menyelamatkan sector otomotif terutama “Big Three” yakni General Motor (GM), Ford dan Chrysler s.
Hal ini membuat Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) anjlok ke level 1,262.96 dengan trading value Rp 1,7 triliun, nilai ini sangat rendak dibanding dengan hari kemarin yang berkisar Rp 3 triliunan. Para pelaku pasar cenderung wait and see karena sebelumnya indeks AS mengalami penurunan.
Kita tunggu saja gimana indeks AS malam nanti akan turun atau menguat. Karena hampir bia dipastikan IHSG sangat dipengaruhi oleh indeks AS terutama Dow Jones. Jika malam nanti indeks AS mengalami penurunan/melemah kemungkinan besar IHSG hari senin juga akan terseret seperti yang terjadi hari ini.
Mungkin kita hanya bisa mendoakan semoga indeks AS mengalami penguatan dan kebijakan untuk membailout sector otomotif kembali disetujui. Karena ditakutkan seperti yang terjadi pada 30 Sep 2008 yang gagal menyetujui dana talangan atau Bail out sebesar US$700 miliar yang membuat indeks AS anjlok.
